As a principal at Menlo Ventures, Andreas is focused on partnering with founders who are rethinking an industry, oftentimes equipped with an earned secret from a past experience or with the deep empathy of an outsider challenging the status quo.
He has a particular interest in AI and software applications for horizontal or vertical markets along with novel monetization or GTM approaches that can supercharge adoption. At Menlo, Andreas works with founders at the inflection stage as they navigate ramping up after finding product-market fit.
Before joining Menlo, Andreas worked at Lead Edge Capital, where he partnered with companies at the growth stage, including LaunchDarkly, Sanity, Grafana, Hinge Health, and H1 (also a Menlo-backed company). Prior to that, he worked at Goldman Sachs.
Andreas graduated from Harvard with a degree in statistics and computer science. In his free time, he volunteers in civic technology and co-founded Snapscreener, a website to help people check their eligibility for government benefits. He is Greek and grew up outside of Philadelphia. He is an avid hiker and backpacker and has enjoyed exploring California after many years living on the East Coast.
