Brent Fellows

Brent is Vice President, Finance and Tax at Menlo, where he runs fund finance, tax, and treasury across the firm’s funds—from capital calls and distributions to valuations, audit, and the quarterly reporting our investors depend on.

He joined the firm in 2015 as Tax Manager, became Controller and Tax Director in 2019, and Vice President, Finance and Tax in 2023. Prior to Menlo, Brent advised venture capital clients on tax at PwC San Jose. A licensed CPA, he began his studies in mechanical engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, before graduating with a BS in accounting and an MS in taxation.

Brent lives in Austin with his wife and two kids, and is happiest crushing a CrossFit workout, tending a BBQ, or adventuring outdoors with his family.
