Andy leads recruiting at Menlo Labs, where she works closely with founders building companies within our startup studio to strategically assemble high-performing founding teams. In addition to hiring, Andy advises founders on how to scale a growing organization, how to develop a hiring brand that attracts engineers, and how to recruit talent. Andy specializes in technical hiring across a variety of industries and finds the most joy in helping founders build from 0 to 1. 

Previously, Andy was the head of technical recruiting at YC Continuity, where she advised and supported founders on hiring their executive bench and cultivated relationships with top engineering and technical leaders across several focus areas including fintech, SaaS, and developer infrastructure. Before stepping into the world of VC, Andy worked at Palantir and later Affirm, where she started as the third technical recruiter. By the end of her tenure, she oversaw a team of 25 recruiters leading all engineering recruiting.

Andy is a San Francisco native and received a bachelor of arts degree at UC Davis. When she’s not talking to candidates, you can find her trying new restaurants in the Bay Area and, most recently, playing pickleball.
