Lila Cohn

Senior Manager of Validation

Lila is the Senior Manager of Validation for Menlo Labs, where she works closely with our venture studio founders to de-risk their startup ideas and accelerate their businesses quickly out of the gate.

Lila previously worked at BCG Digital Ventures for four years, designing, building, and launching new businesses and products for Fortune 500 clients.  In this role, she honed her skills in concept workshopping, market research and testing with end users, and product design and prioritization, which she now uses to ensure that Menlo Labs founders are focused on solving true pain points for customers. Lila’s work at BCG Digital Ventures covered a wide range of industries, exposing her to a variety of product and go-to-market strategies in both consumer and enterprise contexts. Before that, she was an experience strategist at a creative agency, where she oversaw user research and experience design for clients in the consumer goods, retail, and quick-service restaurant industries. Earlier in her career, she was a product manager at Politico, launching new offerings in editorial and elections.

Lila earned a master’s degree in Integrated Product Design from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Art History from the University of Michigan. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
