In November, we hosted an exclusive gathering of leading investors, entrepreneurs, and industry luminaries at Menlo Ventures’ CEO Summit. The two-day event offered a unique opportunity for CEOs across the Menlo portfolio to connect with peers, share best practices, and forge valuable relationships.

Attendees immersed themselves in compelling programming from an incredible lineup of speakers. Among them, author and biographer Walter Isaacson, Olympic legend and former NFL player Jeremy Bloom, and decorated military leader General Stanley McChrystal. Harness and AppDynamics founder Jyoti Bansal joined Menlo’s Matt Murphy on stage to share his lessons from the front lines of high-growth companies. Morgan Stanley’s Michael Grimes shared his thoughts on the state of the exit market.

AI was a hot topic. Pinecone CEO Edo Liberty took the stage alongside Neerav Kingsland from Anthropic to discuss the future of the AI stack. A session moderated by Houman Haghighi with a trio of leading CIOs  Kumud Kalia (Guardant),   Steve McMahon (ZScalar), and Trevor Schulze (Alteryx) provided perspectives on how AI will transform the enterprise. And Menlo partners Naomi Ionita and Tim Tully shared Menlo’s report on the State of Enterprise AI.

The following day, we continued the conversation with our Limited Partners, sharing details on fund performance and providing our perspective on investment opportunities. Among the highlights of the Annual Meeting were a presentation by Amy Wu on the future of how we live and play, Joff Redfern’s learnings from a lifetime of product leadership, and Greg Yap’s panel on how AI will transform healthcare with Jenn Buechel of Delfi Diagnostics and Dag Kittlaus of Menlo-backed Riva and Siri.

Over three days in Dana Point, meaningful connections were made. Menlo’s portfolio leaders also participated in curated networking sessions, quick pitch sessions with potential customers, matchmaking with CxO advisors, and enjoyed great meals and entertainment against the stunning backdrop of the California coast. It was an incredible event where leadership, innovation, and extraordinary minds intersected, and we hope the relationships that were built and the ideas we shared will propel visionary businesses forward.
