When we launched the $100 million Anthology Fund in July with our partners at Anthropic, we set out to support cutting-edge AI startups pushing the boundaries of innovation. Our launch caught the attention of major tech media, with coverage from outlets like TechCrunch, CNBC, Crunchbase, and Quartz that reached over a million people. For the companies listed above, being an Anthology company is about much more than getting a check. The partnership we have with Anthropic comes with a lot of benefits: Anthology companies get $25,000 in Anthropic credits, access to Anthropic’s technical team for ongoing guidance and support, and the team of company builders and investors at Menlo. Part of the package is creating new connections and access to exclusive events. Most recently, we invited our Anthology companies to join an exclusive Builder Day at Anthropic’s headquarters, where 250 top founders and hackers from around the world gathered for an inspiring fireside chat between Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and Menlo’s Matt Murphy, followed by a technical deep dive from Anthropic’s Head of Developer Relations, Alex Albert, and a talk on interpretability by Emmanuel Ameisen. Builder Day generated 100+ impressive submissions. IndieHackers covered prize winners and prizes, and Deedy shared a longer list of hacks here.

We’re already up and running and have lots of momentum—and this is just the Anthology Fund’s first act. For both the team at Menlo and our partners at Anthropic, the Anthology Fund goes beyond investing. We’re building a strong community of pioneers who are harnessing Anthropic’s technology to demonstrate the tremendous impact AI could have on human lives. In the future, we’re excited to host more events bringing together our founders, the Anthropic team, and Menlo investors. We’ll showcase progress, share insights, and keep growing the community. The best technology isn’t just built by the best engineers, but also by listening to the best customers (startups). This technology is still early in its journey to not just reshape industries, but human lives.

We’re ALL IN on AI and we’re just getting started. This is going to be fun!
