Salesforce to Acquire BeyondCore

Today, Salesforce announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire BeyondCore, the pioneer and leader in smart data discovery. The company announced the news in a blog post.

Menlo was the sole venture investor in Beyondcore’s Series A in February of 2014. We are thrilled with the company’s incredible success and their future as part of Salesforce.

We are very fortunate to have backed BeyondCore’s amazing team. With experience at companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Autonomy, and the MIT Media Lab, co-founders Arijit Sengupta and Griffin Chronis have changed the face of big data analytics.

Menlo continues to actively invest in portfolio companies that use big data to their advantage including BitSight (cybersecurity), Gild (recruiting), Waterline Data (catalog analysis), and Takipi (software analysis).
